Why is 'Population' a valid Quaker Concern

This is an event organised by Quaker Concern Over Population.  It will consider the implications of the growing world's population for pollution, ecosystems, demand for resources and climate change.  There will be an introduction and a panel discussion

Building the Successful Society: how Quakers evolved to thrive.

Venue: Cirencester Quaker Meeting House, 53 Thomas Street, GL7 2BA

This is a Meeting for Learning for Gloucestershire Quakers.  Historian Dr Andrew Fincham will outline the origins of the Society of Friends and answer 3 questions: How did the Friends come together?, Why did they grow? and What can we learn from the Successful Friends?  A discussion will follow.

If travelling to Cirencester please offer a lift to Friends.  There will be a Bring and Share lunch from 13.00
