The People's Emergency Briefing - a film about the climate crisis

The film explains how the climate crisis is already affecting our lives - the economy, our health, food supply even our national security. But it is also a message of hope. We can still mitigate the worst outcomes and we can do so in ways that give our economy, our health and our national security a better chance. This film aims to build a national movement calling on politicians to give the climate crisis the same level of urgency as was given to Covid, because the dangers are just as serious.

Showing solidarity and care for everyone impacted by violence, conflict and war. A rallying call for Quakers in Britain – a “loud silence” witnessing for peace
The vigil will begin with a short meeting for worship in the Quaker way. We will be walking quietly at a slow pace. A walking vigil is an inherently peaceful activity: not a protest, not a march, not a demonstration. We will pause along the route for further worship. The walking vigil will conclude with a final meeting for worship, at the end of the route.
