This is a Meeting for Learning for Gloucestershire Quakers. Historian Dr Andrew Fincham will outline the origins of the Society of Friends and answer 3 questions: How did the Friends come together?, Why did they grow? and What can we learn from the Successful Friends? A discussion will follow.
If travelling to Cirencester please offer a lift to Friends. There will be a Bring and Share lunch from 13.00

This is the longest gathering of 2026, (1st -4th May); there will be two more single days later in the year. Yearly Meeting is a time when Quakers from across Britain come together to seek discernment about their future and to hear much anticipated annual lectures. It is also the best time to learn about the many active groups linked to Quakers by visiting the groups fair.
